Working Style
„Each client-system, each working-topic is different. My approach, the architecture and the design of my engagements with clients is equally variable. Still there are a few guiding principles which are characteristic of my work:
Respect for what exists:
Even in the most radical development initiatives not everything needs to change. Not all the existing elements have to disappear to give room for the new. There are always items where we can build on. This respect reduces the resistance to change and yields sustainability. The Better is allowed to be friend of the Good!
Transfer of competence into the client-system:
When I design a project I always ask myself, what will remain there after I have left. I therefore try to not only deliver content, but also transfer methods and tools to my clients. For me this the critical difference between education and enablement.
Development of confidence:
Sometimes development starts only reluctantly or stalls because the people involved have a lot of knowledge but they lack confidence. I therefore consequently build on the detection of opportunities and possibilities, and on the re-framing of things that appear difficult.
